AAOS Logging is an informational trip-logging application. It is not a vehicle safety system, diagnostic authority, navigation system or substitute for the vehicle manufacturer's instruments and instructions.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing or using AAOS Logging (the “Application”), you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
2. The service
The Application can record trips, display read-only vehicle information, calculate summaries and insights, and optionally synchronize app-created files with your Google Drive. Features depend on the Android Automotive OS version, the vehicle, permissions, connectivity and the data exposed by the manufacturer.
DevMcage may improve, modify, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated through the Application, store listing or this website where appropriate.
3. Eligibility and license
You must be legally permitted to use the Application and the relevant vehicle. Subject to these terms, DevMcage grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Application for its intended purpose.
4. Safe and lawful use
You are responsible for operating your vehicle safely and following traffic laws, vehicle instructions and road conditions. Do not interact with trip history, analysis, synchronization or configuration while driving. The Application uses Android Automotive OS restrictions to limit appropriate features while the vehicle is moving, but those restrictions do not replace driver responsibility.
You must not misuse the Application, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, or use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law.
5. Vehicle information and calculated values
Vehicle data can be unavailable, delayed, incomplete or manufacturer-specific. Some values may be estimated or derived when a direct signal is unavailable. Calculated range, energy, weather, scores, comparisons and other insights are informational and may differ from the vehicle's own displays.
Do not rely on the Application for warnings, maintenance decisions, emergency response, battery-critical decisions or safe vehicle operation. Always follow the vehicle's official displays, warnings and documentation.
6. Your data and Google Drive
You remain responsible for your trip data, local backups and the Google account you choose to connect. Google Drive synchronization is optional. If enabled, the Application may create, update, read and remove files that it created or that you made available to it, subject to Google's authorization and service availability.
Disconnecting Google Drive stops future synchronization but does not automatically remove files already stored in your account. You can inspect, download or delete those files through Google Drive. Data handling is explained further in the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
The Application may interact with Google Play services, Google Drive, Open-Meteo, OpenStreetMap-based services and vehicle or Android platform services. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. DevMcage does not control their availability, accuracy or policies.
8. Purchases, updates and availability
If you obtain the Application through Google Play, purchases, payment processing, refunds and store distribution are also governed by Google Play's applicable terms. Updates may be required for compatibility, security or continued service. The Application is offered only in supported regions, devices and vehicles.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Application is provided “as is” and “as available”. DevMcage does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, universal vehicle compatibility, availability of particular sensor values, error-free calculations, or successful synchronization under all conditions.
Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevMcage is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Application, including loss of trip records, loss of expected savings, third-party service interruptions or reliance on informational values. Mandatory legal rights and liability that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Application at any time and may uninstall it. DevMcage may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security, abuse, legal requirements or serious breaches of these terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination remain effective.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the Application, applicable law or third-party services change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Service Provider, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or rights available in your country of residence.
